Summary:
The QTI Group is partnering with a local metal stamping shop in Horicon to recruit for a 1st shift full time DIRECT HIRE Journeyman Tool and Die Maker. Qualified candidates will have sheet metal stamping experience. Key responsibilities include: participating in new tool construction, maintaining and repairing existing tooling, machining components and products per prints, be a user of CAD/CAM, have a basic understanding of die protection, and proficiently operating various machine tools such as drills, mills, CNC mills, and surface grinders. Enjoy an air-conditioned shop while you work!
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 5:00am to 3:30pm
- Pay Rate: $28-32 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Create new tooling and maintain existing tooling
- Machine components and products as required per print
- Utilize CAD / CAM to assist in the creation of tooling components
- Participate in die protection installation and performance
- Run all machine tools of the trade. Drills, Mills, CNC Mills, Surface Grinders, etc.
Qualifications:
- Tool and Die Journeyman's card
- Must have sheet metal stamping experience
- Must have a professional demeanor for interfacing with other employees
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Strong math skills and be able to read all measuring tools
