Summary
The QTI Group is partnering with a Milwaukee area manufacturer to recruit for its next Supply Chain Manager. This individual will lead and oversee procurement, supplier relationships, and inventory management in an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization.

Location: On-Site

Compensation: $90,000-120,000

Responsibilities include Procurement Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Inventory Management, ISO 9001:2015 Compliance and Team Leadership:
  • Ensure efficient flow of materials and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency, quality and timeliness.
  • Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships to foster collaboration and ensure effective buying processes and supply chain performance.
  • Evaluate supplier performance through regular audits and performance reviews.
  • Establish and manage procurement budgets to achieve key financial objectives.
  • Oversee inventory planning and control processes to optimize stock levels and reduce excess or obsolete inventory and develop key metrics to monitor inventory.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling and distribution of materials in line with quality standards.
  • Contribute to regular quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor and foster professional development for a supply chain team of four.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, logistics, and finance to align department activities with company goals.
  • Interface and report updates to senior management on supply chain performance and challenges.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years’ supply chain experience, preferably in procurement, in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have demonstrated experience buying and negotiating
  • Proven experience leading and developing people in a hands-on management style.
  • Experience in a job shop manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Success implementing a lean manufacturing and continuous improvement culture.
  • Experience in operational strategic planning.
  • Experience and knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MRP systems.
  • Supply chain related certification (e.g., APICS, CPSM, or similar) is a plus.
