Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Day Shift Sheetfed Press Operator to operate and maintain our sheetfed printing presses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of printing processes, excellent mechanical skills, and a passion for producing outstanding printed materials. Direct hire opportunity!
Pay: $25.00/hour to $30.00/hour depending on experience
Schedule: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate sheefed printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and quality
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment
- Monitor print runs for quality, adjusting as necessary to meet specifications
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including run times and material usage
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school or diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training is a plus
- Previous machine or press operation experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of printing processes, color management, and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
