Summary:
A locally owned fabrication shop is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join their team! This role is responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC press brakes. They offer a great 4-day work week, climate-controlled environment, the latest industry technology, and a comprehensive benefits package upon hire! Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:00 pm
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate CNC Press Brake equipment, following best practices.
  • Review and understand job paperwork before beginning production.
  • Set up and operate the CNC Press Brake using established set-up sheets.
  • Load and execute programs to manufacture products as per customer specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for dimensions and tolerances.
  • Use inspection equipment (e.g., digital caliper, height gauge, protractor) to validate parts against customer specifications.
  • Ensure zero defect quality by accurately presenting blanks to gauging.
  • Meet quality and productivity expectations.
  • Package products as per instructions.
Qualifications:
  • Previous Press Brake experience is preferred.
  • Candidates with a background in other fabrication or machine operation will be considered.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use job-related inspection equipment.
  • Good organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for the duration of the work shift.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team within a self-directed work environment.
