The QTI Group is searching for a skilled maintenance technician for a well respected manufacturing company in Racine, WI. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in diagnosing and repairing many different mechanical and electrical machines and other components. Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, building and facilities requiring a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, carpentry, fabrication and a basic knowledge of electrical repair.
- Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related services.
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
- Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining, or replacement of purchased parts.
- Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment to involve dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting and aligning operations.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years’ experience in maintenance, mechanical repair including blueprint reading and interpretation plus up to three years extensive experience in a variety of maintenance trades desired
- Have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have ability to handle diversified work assignments with independent thinking
