Summary:
Our client, a well-established financial advisory practice, is seeking a licensed Associate Financial Advisor (including SIE, Series 7, Series 66, or equivalents) to support their growing client base! With the support of the newest technology and a strong team, the Associate Financial Advisor will play an instrumental role in creating and delivering unique client experiences to help them achieve their financial goals.
Our client, a well-established financial advisory practice, is seeking a licensed Associate Financial Advisor (including SIE, Series 7, Series 66, or equivalents) to support their growing client base! With the support of the newest technology and a strong team, the Associate Financial Advisor will play an instrumental role in creating and delivering unique client experiences to help them achieve their financial goals.
This position will operate onsite on the west side of Madison, with regular office hours Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Salary is $100,000 or more per year based on experience plus bonus opportunities, and a competitive benefits package is offered.
Responsibilities:
- Identify clients to engage or re-engage in planning relationships
- Perform case analysis, develop recommendations, and create planning deliverables
- Prepare for and participate in client meetings, present recommendations
- Communicate regularly with clients according to agreed upon actions; maintain accurate client records
- Monitor economy, markets, and world events to determine strategic rebalancing
- Assess risk tolerance, goals, and timeframe to make recommendations
- Develop product deliverables and persuade clients to act upon advice
- Execute trades to align with proposed portfolio; conduct transactions on behalf of clients
- Actively participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance or related OR equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in a Financial Advisor role*
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn, comfortable in small-team dynamic/atmosphere
