You will oversee an administrative team of 16 who provide support to multiple departments across this professional services firm. This is a high-impact role focused on operational excellence, team development, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a distributed team (all in Wisconsin) to drive performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Manage workload and service levels using a ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk), with a focus on capacity planning and data-driven decisions to ensure optimal internal customer service.
- Evaluate administrative processes and procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align administrative support with business needs and ensure high service quality.
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused culture through regular team communication and coaching.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of management or supervisory experience in administrative operations.
- Proven leadership skills, preferably with a large, distributed team, with ability to solve complex problems and optimize team performance through technology.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience using a ticketing system to monitor and balance team capacity.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust and credibility across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
