Summary:
The QTI Group has partnered with a not-for-profit organization in Sun Prairie to recruit a Temporary Office Assistant. This full-time, on-site role is essential in maintaining smooth front office operations during a period of transition and training. The Office Assistant will be the first point of contact for visitors, while also supporting general administrative tasks and helping prepare for upcoming company events.
We are seeking someone who can start on or around July 14 to ensure a smooth handoff and adequate training time. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and a knack for staying organized.
The assignment is expected to last 6+ weeks. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with some flexibility around start and end times. Pay is $22+/hr., depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors at the front desk; manage building access in a secure facility.
- Answer and route incoming calls; monitor voicemails and general inboxes.
- Provide light support for meetings and events (e.g., printing materials, coordinating vendors).
- Maintain office cleanliness and supplies, including stocking coffee bars and conference rooms.
- Assist with mail distribution and other general administrative tasks.
- Support other administrative staff as needed during vacations and training periods.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of office, receptionist, or administrative experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and ability to multitask.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Must pass a background check.
