The QTI Group is partnering with a contract manufacturer just north of Milwaukee to find their next Master Planner. The Master Planner will be responsible for the development and continuous oversight of daily production plans and schedules, and will also closely monitor material availability related to specific production projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3+ years of production planning experience in the manufacturing field, specifically in a job shop environment with low volume and high variety.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis, planning and overall ownership of the production planning process
- Forecast future production schedules based on order management tools
- Organize, prepare and monitor daily production and master schedules
- Release work orders to the shop floor, reschedule orders as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in production planning or equivalent role
- Experience with mid to large-size manufacturing company preferred
- Experience with job shop manufacturing environment preferred
- Prior Epicor ERP experience desired
