Summary
The QTI Group is partnering with a Madison-based nonprofit organization to hire an Interim HR Leader to plug in for a 3-4 month period. Serving as an active participant on the executive leadership team, this fractional HR leader will lead a team of two and support benefits plan implementation, payroll, recruitment and employee relations. The Interim Human Resources Director will work in coordination with the CEO and CFO to provide guidance to managers in the effective application of company policies and human resources practices.

  • Serve as a trusted confidant to the CEO regarding personnel issues.
  • Partner with CFO and benefits broker to facilitate the implementation of the organization’s updated benefits offerings.
  • Partner with CFO to review potential consulting partners for a comprehensive compensation program review.
  • Coordinate with CEO and CFO to address employee concerns and provide guidance to managers to ensure constructive dialogue to resolve conflicts.
  • Serve as a knowledge resource for other HR-related matters such as recruitment and payroll.
  • Partner with the CEO and CFO to apply a broad understanding of human resources practices and procedures including but not limited to state employment tax law, multi-state employment law, federal employment law, medical accommodations, job classification, and HRIS/ ATS systems.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 7+ years of HR, preferably in an executive HR leadership role (VP or CHRO) working closely with senior leaders
  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business or related field preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred. CCP- highly desirable
