As they continue to grow, we are recruiting a talented CAD Designer to join their team in Middleton, WI.
Responsibilities:
Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Sketchup, Fusion360, etc.) to create accurate and detailed models and drawings.
Provide support in the development of products and prototypes, collaborating closely with engineers and other team members.
Perform file conversions, set-up, and maintenance to ensure efficient workflow and organization.
Assist in materials selection and understanding manufacturing processes to optimize designs for production.
Demonstrate a high level of initiative in problem-solving and identifying areas for improvement.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, visitors, and vendors, utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in engineering technology or a related field.
At least three years of experience in materials selection, manufacturing processes, and computer-aided design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Fusion360, and other 3D modeling software.
Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to translate concepts into accurate models and drawings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and interface with external stakeholders.
Proven track record of problem-solving and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
