Summary:
A leading manufacturer of driving technology is seeking experienced candidates for their direct-hire Mechanical Assembler position. The primary responsibility of this position is reading blueprints to assemble gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components per work order. Prior mechanical assembly is required. Full benefits are offered!
Pay: $23.39 per hour
Hours: 2nd shift M-T, 3:00 pm - 1:30am

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Assemble gearboxes to work order instructions
- Check work orders for accuracy
- Visually check parts for quality
- Test units for audible noises
- Rework and correct any noise or leakage problems
- Work-related to maintaining the 5S program and Kanban system
- Be an active participant in the company’s suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost-savings programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent required
- Previous assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and write
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand and move around for 10 to 12 hours per day
- Must have reliable transportation to Waunakee
